Automatic or manual – doesn’t really matter with the 2013 Scion FR-S, which is a sports car that comes with a practical price, rear-wheel drive, and a six-speed transmission. Better yet, it doesn’t look like a Frito Lay truck the way that a certain inStash writer’s parents’ Scion does. Color choices are available in Whiteout (for you minimalists), Hot Lava (for you Texas Longhorn fans), Argento (for you sophisticates), Firestorm (for fans of the Howey Long movie), Ultramarine (for real ‘Mericans), and Asphalt and Raven (for awesome people).
The FR-S also boasts 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft of torque, which is quite nice though we wouldn’t recommend you challenging any police officers to high-speed chases in it. Still, for getting around in style it’ll do just fine.
